Vision
At one billion people, India is the world’s second-most populous nation--
but only 3% of the total population are born-again Christians.

But this fact is changing as literally tens of thousands are coming to Christ. God is visiting hungry hearts of the people of India with healings and miracles confirming His Word.
The God-given assignment of LWI is to proclaim the message of faith in God and the fullness of His Spirit through preaching, teaching and literature in local languages.
To the glory of God, over 2.2 million copies of faith-building books in 22 languages including Braille for the blind, have been translated and published to date. LWI presently has 4 offices in India: Nagpur, Calcutta, Chennai (Madras) and Dimapur, Nagaland.
Kevin & Areni are involved in teaching at RHEMA India; instruction is given in English and interpreted into Hindi. Additionally, they assist the school's directors, Rev. and Mrs. N. Y. Thorat. Rev. Thorat is founder and president of The Lord’s Delight Ministries based in Nagpur, India.
The ongoing vision of Living Word International is four-fold:
- Preaching and teaching the Word of God
- Preaching and teaching in local churches
- Teaching in seminars in India and Nepal
- Teaching at RHEMA India Bible Training Center
- Translating and publishing faith-building literature in local languages throughout the Indian sub-continent
- To date, the salvation booklet The New Birth has been translated and published into 22 languages spoken in India, Nepal, Bhutan, Pakistan and Tibet (China)
- The first New Testament translated and published into Dzongkha, the national language of Bhutan
- The life-changing truth contained in The Believer’s Authority translated and published into six languages
- The New Birth and In Him published in Tamil Braille for the blind
- Reaching out in compassion to the poor (Galatians 2:10)
- Providing food and clothing to victims of the 2005 Asian Tsunami
- Distributing walking canes to the blind (donated by the Bible Society of India)
- Outreaches to the blind in which meals are freely provided
- Having a part in establishing strong Bible-believing churches
- Areni (Ezung) Castro pioneered a church in Kohima, Nagaland
- Helping RHEMA India Bible school graduates establish churches
- Networking with other ministries who are establishing churches
